To the owner of, occupant of, person in charge, or other persons responsible for the property. Pursuant to § 97.09 of the City of Canton Ordinances, any tree, sapling, or growth of Genus Fraxinus, commonly known as ash, located within the city limits of Canton, is declared to be a dangerous tree and a nuisance unless treated with Emamectin Benzoate on or before September 15, 2023. Removal of all untreated Genus Fraxinus trees, saplings, or growth of Genus Fraxinus located within the parking strips and boulevard within the city limits by the adjoining property owner is ordered to occur on or before November 1, 2024.
Removal of untreated Genus Fraxinus is necessary to preserve public health and safety and to prevent the spread of disease or insects to public trees and places.
